This homemade beef jerky is made using sirloin tip roast marinated in a flavorful mixture including soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and spices. Dehydrated to perfection using a food dehydrator, it's a satisfying snack that outshines store-bought versions.

What you need

beef sirloin tip roast

5 lb beef sirloin tip roast

soy sauce

1 cup soy sauce

teriyaki sauce

2 cup teriyaki sauce

worcestershire sauce

1 cup worcestershire sauce

brown sugar

½ cup brown sugar

chili flakes

2 tbsp chili flakes

paprika

1 tbsp paprika

garlic powder

1 tbsp garlic powder

black pepper

1 tbsp black pepper

rice vinegar

2 tbsp rice vinegar

fine sea salt

2 tsp fine sea salt

onion powder

4 tsp onion powder

cayenne pepper

1 tbsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

1: Slice your beef 1/8 inch thick. You can ask your butcher to do this or you can do it yourself. If you do it yourself, your beef needs to be slightly frozen in order to get it thinly sliced.

2: Combine all of your ingredients under marinade & marinate in the fridge for 24 hours.

3: After 24 hours of marinating, carefully place your beef onto your Elechomes dehydrator racks.

4: Using the meat function, dehydrate for 6-8 hours.

5: Enjoy! Tip: Line the very bottom of your dehydrator with foil to catch any drippings from your beef.
