A savory dish featuring thinly cut beef coated in cornstarch and cooked with a flavorful sauce made of brown sugar, soy sauce, and ginger. The dish is complemented with garlic and scallions for added flavor.
 Mince 3 tsp of ginger.
 Mince 1 bulb of garlic.
Cut your scallion 2 inches wide.
Cut your beef so it’s 1/4 inch thick and coat it in cornstarch. Let this sit for 15 minutes while you make your sauce.
Mix all of your ingredients under 'sauce' and set aside.
In a skillet on medium-high heat, heat up some cooking oil (vegetable oil recommended).
Pan sear your beef for 2 minutes, flipping halfway through. (Do not overcrowd your skillet. Cook in batches if you must. A non-stick skillet works best.)
Once all of your beef is cooked, remove it from heat and set aside.
In the same skillet or a new one, heat up a generous amount of oil (medium-high heat).
Cook your minced ginger and minced garlic for 10 seconds.
Pour in your 'sauce', mix, and add in 3 tablespoons of cornstarch. Mix immediately, breaking up any cornstarch clumps.
Your sauce will thicken. Once it thickens, add your beef and coat it in the sauce.
Add your scallion and combine well. Top with black pepper and enjoy.
