Bo Luc Lac (Shaken Beef)

1: Cut your beef into 1 inch cubes and marinate with all of the marinade ingredients for at least 30 minutes.

2: Heat oil in a skillet and add beef in an even layer. Sear for 2 minutes before shaking/stirring to allow the other side to sear.

3: Do not constantly stir; leave it to cook properly. Cook in batches if necessary.

4: Once done, turn off the heat and add the butter.

5: For garlic fried rice, heat oil in another skillet, add garlic and cook until it starts to turn golden. Add tomato sauce and combine well.

6: Allow the sauce to bubble/reduce before adding the rice. Stir well to coat everything evenly.

7: If more tomato sauce is needed, create a well in the middle of the rice for the sauce to bubble before mixing.
