A delightful fusion of Chinese BBQ pork (Cha Siu) served with a savory miso broth and topped with noodles and vegetables. The pork is seasoned and simmered to perfection while the miso broth is rich in flavor with ginger, shallots, and shiitake mushrooms.
 Salt & pepper your pork.
Pat your BBQ pork seasoning pack into your pork.
 Cover & refrigerate overnight.
When it’s time to cook, place your pork into a large enough pot.
Add ~1.5 cups of water. Bring to a boil. Skim out any foam.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for ~45 mins or until your pork is done. Check the pork to ensure it's cooked through.
Mince ginger, shallot/red pearl onions, and garlic either by hand or using a food processor.
Heat sesame oil in a pan over high heat and pan fry ginger, shallot/red pearl onions, garlic, and sesame seeds until fragrant.
Add water to the pan and bring to a boil. Then add miso paste.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and stir until the miso paste is dissolved.
Add mirin, salt, sugar, and black pepper. Combine well before adding mushrooms.
Cook noodles according to the package instructions.
Steam/blanch baby bok choy or your preferred vegetable.
Assemble the bowl with noodles, bok choy, and toppings as per the video.
