Delicious salt and pepper shrimp, a favorite for holiday feasts, coated in cornstarch and cooked to perfection. This recipe includes jalapeños for an extra kick. Perfect for family gatherings!
Coat shrimp in cornstarch. Let this sit for 10 minutes so the batter can REALLY stick.
Meanwhile, prepare your jalapenos. Cut them into coins.
By now your shrimp should be ready to pan fry or deep fry. Cook shrimp for 1 minute on each side, depending on the size.
Wipe your pan clean, heat up a little bit of oil and cook your jalapeños for 30-60 seconds.
Add your seasonings (1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic powder). Combine this well.
Add your shrimp, toss to coat and enjoy.
